FatDigest

FatDigest® contains specially selected fat-degrading bacterial cultures developed to biologically digest the fats, oils and grease (FOG) that accumulate in grease traps, sewer pipes and wastewater systems — before they harden, block drains and cause costly problems.

With 5 billion live bacteria per gram, FatDigest® goes to work on stubborn FOG build-up at the source, keeping flow moving and odours down.

Recommended dosage

1 sachet (30 g) treats up to 5,000 litres of sewage liquid under normal operating conditions. For systems with heavy FOG accumulation or severe blockages, apply a double dose initially.

Mixing & dosing

1. Mix the contents of the sachet with 20 litres of clean water.
2. Stir well for 2 minutes.
3. Dose into multiple points of entry where clogging is likely.
4. Break up stubborn hard fat and solid waste with a prodder or stick to loosen the mass and maximise coverage of the product.

Apply during periods of low water usage (preferably in the evening).

Where stubborn mass occurs: add one sachet of SewerDigest® together with one sachet of FatDigest® (1:1 ratio) to kick-start the bacterial digestion process.
